Michael and Louisa’s wedding was one we were really looking forward to shooting. We had previously shot Louisa’s sister’s wedding so we already knew the family. Not so much like working as it was like catching up with old friends. Steve and I love getting new customers, but it means so much to us when families come back to work with us again. When we had our preliminary meeting we knew that this wedding was going to be unique. After all not many couples choose to have a waltzer at their wedding. Not many couples decide to start with an empty field and bring everything in. We take our hat off to everyone who worked so hard to turn that empty field into an awesome reception venue. The team at St Helens were amazing too. They allowed us to bring in additional lighting so we captured every detail of the service perfectly. Including one of the younger guests taking a quick nap during the service.

The fact that the wedding took place on the day England were playing a crucial game in the World Cup meant that a TV had to be provided and a win for England added to the party atmosphere. Food was provided by the chefs from the Mill House

The whole day, from start to finish, was certainly one to remember and we were absolutely bowled over by the waltzer shots. If you look carefully you might see Steve having a quick go and we even handed the camera to Michael so he could get a quick shot of Steve and I with Louisa.

What an awesome day to celebrate the marriage of a lovely couple. We wish you every happiness for the future.
