Our first wedding of 2019 was one of our most memorable. The fabulous Eschott Hall was the venue for Helen & Colum’s big day. With the ceremony in the reading room and the reception in the main house, we had the perfect backdrop to showcase the luxury of the venue and the events of the day. Helen and Colum wanted their wedding to be quirky and fun and they had included some lovely countryside details. From the groomsmen gift pack containing checkered socks and cufflinks made from shotgun cartridges to the inclusion of Helen’s horse Indy as one of the integral features of the wedding. He was very well-behaved for the group shot and Dougie the dog looked amazing in his harness that echoed the details from Colum’s suit. It’s always great to see animals included in the proceedings – after all, they are part of the family too.
Team groom managed to rock the “boyband” look for their group photos with their aviator shades making them look cool as ice and team bride were excited to have a go at some jumping shots.
We’ve never had a couple that were so game to try something a little different with their pics and to suggest ideas for shots that are a bit out of the ordinary. Will we take a shot of you in the bath? Of course, we will! The highlight of the wedding had to be the silent disco. We just couldn’t get away for spotting the opportunity to grab just one last pic. We even managed to get the Fontains to take a break from playing their set to pose for a shot in one of our legendary frames. All in all, we had an absolute blast.
