Clare & Andrew – The tear-jerker a Newcastle Cathedral.
Clare & Andrew’s wedding was a roller-coaster of emotion for many reasons. It was the first wedding at the newly refurbished Newcastle Cathedral and Clare had paused treatment for a brain tumour to get married to Andrew. It was such a privilege to be part of the couple’s special day which Clare had planned to perfection. The service was followed with a wedding breakfast at the Crowne Plaza hotel. Our favourite bit was the appearance of the singing waiters during the wedding breakfast dessert. It was made doubly funny by the fact that Andrew didn’t have a clue. Despite the rainy start we managed to find a break in the weather to get the iconic shot of the couple on the millennium bridge. It was great to work with McCauley Cullen again as videographer as we get along like a house on fire. It was a joyous day, despite the challenging circumstances, and it will certainly be a one we’ll remember.
