Louise & Andrew – The South Causey
We always have a good chat with our couples at the pre-wedding shoot to get to know them and how we can make their wedding pics truly unique. In our chat with Louise and Andrew, we discovered they were gamers so that inspired us to do some themed shots. It also sparked their ideas which is why I found myself at the Angel of the North with a bunch of guys in Mexican wrestling masks. It certainly amused the amateur photographers taking pics of the angel. The Zelda and Link themed ring shot was actually taken in the back garden using a flashgun with a circular modifier to simulate the sunset behind the models. We had a fab time photographing the wedding as South Causey has a number of unique locations. We had a trip out to the lake for the “big sky” photograph and used a blue gel on the flash at the barn to create the silhouette. What a great day and a wonderful start for their lives together as Mr & Mrs Riley.
