Jo and Mark chose the Caledonian Hotel in Jesmond as their wedding venue. Sadly, the hotel had a fire the night before the wedding and we have to say Jo was the calmest person out of everyone even though, with everything else, her dress was caught in there, (luckily it escaped any damage). So it was a case of everyone pulling together to make the wedding happen, so the day ended up with Jo and her bridesmaids getting ready at the gorgeous Jesmond Dene Hotel, having the ceremony (under fire marshal supervision) at the Caledonian before heading to the Jesmond Holiday Inn to finish the day off. In between, we managed to whisk the couple to Jesmond Dene for some “them time” and capture some beautiful shots of this awesome couple. We also got them a shot outside each hotel to look back in years to come and show the grandkids how eventful their wedding day was! Despite everything, their day went as smoothly as it could, everyone had a great time and they were both so relaxed about it all, they were simply amazing.
