We travelled to Horsely in Northumberland for our first wedding at North Side Farm.  Our pre-wedding scout of the venue inspired us with its timeless charm and we loved how the rustic barn could have been anywhere in the world. We decided to break out the new flash equipment and use it to create some really cinematic shots with Katherine and Christian. One thing that we were very keen to capture was all of the hard work they had put into creating the hand-made decorations and details. We’d like to thank Katherine & Christian for being such good sports in letting us be a little more creative with the pictures. I’m sure you will agree we got some stunning results. We particularly enjoyed photographing them in front of the old tractor and the weather on the day was perfect.

High fives to the groom and the groomsmen for going for bow ties making it a really elegant affair.

It was great that Steve managed to capture the cat playing while Katherine was getting ready. We’re finding furry friends feature quite a lot as they are a big part of the family too.

Northside Farm was a really unique venue that provided the perfect backdrop for Katherine & Christian’s handmade decorations.  It was the first time we have worked with the guys from Eternal wedding videos and I have to say they were a joy to work with. It felt like a real team effort to capture every special moment.

All in all Steve and I had an amazing day with an awesome couple. We are looking forward to shooting there again soon and we wish Katherine and Christian many happy years ahead.
